Our story is simple. We are skiers with a common goal to provide Whitefish, Montana and the surrounding area with the highest quality ski equipment and lifestyle clothing known to (wo)man. We offer expert advice and a welcoming environment to gear up for your next powder day. Bring in your skis to have tuned or mounted by our skilled ski technicians at a very reasonable price. Be assured, we are here for you, the community. We understand your needs, and we would feel priviledged to serve you as best we can.

Tim Thomas Owner
Tim has been in Whitefish on and off since 1996. His passion for skiing is only trumped by his family. His wife Melissa, son Winter Kuhl and daughter India Rose all enjoy the small community life of Whitefish. Use Tim as a resource for all of your skiing questions...on or off the hill.
Charlie Duffy Owner
A product of Vermont, Charlie decided to move to Whitefish for one ski season after college. That year turned into 13 winters over night. A friend to everyone, Charlie is not afraid to shut down the shop when a storm cycle approaches. Father of 2 year old Rye and husband to Jamie, he is here as a resourse for the Whitefish community and will most definitely be in line on the next powder day.
Dean Maurice Super High Tech
Dean can shred and tune like nobody's business. Not only does he look like Jesus, he can leave your skis singing from the heavens above. Also from Vermont, Dean's life revolves around skiing, softball and painting houses in the off-season. The White Room would be lost without Dean's perma-grin, ski knowledge and exceptional customer service.
Chris Brooks Sales
Raised amidst the orchards of Yakima, Washington, Chris found Whitefish in 2001 in search of the Northwest's most prized trout. A fishing guide and builder in the off-season, Chris is a charger on the ski hill and wont let a broken back or neck get in his way of skiing pow. In addition, Chris is the regional sales rep for DCD Home Magazine. A treat to deal with as a sales person, Chris is the only person we know who can sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves.
Kaci Yachechak Sales
Our only Flathead Valley native, Kaci is currently the sole female representation in our shop and a total ripper. A ski and snowboard instructor on the hill, Kaci brings copious amounts of knowledge to our team. During the warmer months, you will most likely find Kaci sailing Flathead lake with her folks and sibs.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
The White Room is constantly trying to support as many local non-profits as possible. The following are a few of the organizations, schools and athletes we sponsor as we feel they deserve as much encouragement as possible to continue to accel in their particular fields: The US Telemark Ski Team, The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, Flathead Nordic Ski Patrol, Glacier Country Avalanche Center, Big Mountain Commercial Association, Children's House Montesorri School, Rainbow's End Preschool, dominating freeskier Mitch Gilman, and town council seat Ryan Friel.
